a puzzle "the remaining one" type of game attempt for the gmtk game jam

The idea here is a puzzle like thing in which all white circles move at the same time and your objective is to kill them so to have only one arrive at the target, with minimal movement.

Each circles counts steps as they move (only the ones that actually move count as a step, so if they collide or hit a wall, it does not count as a step)

Each map has a max number of movements you should use to get to the target, however, the game will not restart by itself to allow you to study the arena before restarting (don't actually know if that was good or not).

If you get stuck just move to the next arena by clicking on the arrows on the sides, after you win an arena the target will be shown blue

I should be updating this in the next hours so if you can, tell me what you think of it.

ASWD TO MOVE
R TO RESTART
get one into the target point with less steps than the limit
collide 2 circles to destroy them
each one that moves counts as a step
steps ending in destruction do not count

btw ... it is kinda a bug/feature thing that the last step does not count if all balls are destroyed at once

After 8 months, I finally came back to this game, and oh boy how i regret not comming back sooner. This is fun, its really creppy with its ambiance, and I really enjoyed it. You should totally finish this one. At least give it a bit of story.

Heeey @official, how are you? I am really glad you played it. Yeah ... perhaps it could indeed have a story ... tbh though, i really wouldnt know where to go with this idea

usually my things are more ... narrative oriented ... i believe this is the only game I made that is like ... kinda just a puzzle ... not one of my favorites but at least i could finish the mechanics ... something I rarely manage to finish due to poor programming skills lolol

Same tbh lol.

Folks, this is just a work in progress, just posted so I could show the idea to some other people, I should post an update tomorrow

appreciate the concept, like others said we need a bit of direction but I appreciate the looks

I don't really understand what the goal is, but I like the aesthetic

Tried it again and I really like it! It took me a little bit to get used to the mechanics but once I did it was really fun. Neat idea, I'd love to see more of it in the future.
