Interesting concept and the line-based / simplistic aesthetic was nice but I found the sound (edit: cheering noises) annoying and it was a bit too easy to bounce the ball around the edges and cheat.
thanks for the comments Oliver, I was wondering if it was a good idea to add the sounds ... was trying to add something to make it "cooler" so to say, kinda of a last minute idea was to make it like a drums simulator ... maybe we should add volume controls? What do you think? Or should we remove that completely?
About the cheating thing ... well, bouncing the ball around the edges I would not call that cheating ... I mean, if you found a way to win more points, that is just good strategy, there is no right or wrong way to play something ... cheating would be if, for instance, if you could inject some javascript to make it give you more points without actually playing the game (we did not test against that lol
we really have no idea where to take this tbh lol we just saw the game jam and thought ... why not?
